Outside play!

Box Train and Swings

One of Parker's 3rd birthday presents was an upgraded big boy swing.  Steven did a great job of putting it and the baby swing in our big tree in the side yard.  It really has been so nice for the boys and even myself.  The tree provides lots of shade and makes being outside bearable even in the heat.  Especially if you eat Popsicles while you swing!  This was Easton's activity for the day.

Parker's activity today was to make a box train.  I soon discovered that I really didn't have any boxes on hand, so I had to improvise.  I did have leftover coffee and cheeto cans.  We cut construction paper and put it over the cans.  Then, we put stickers on each one.  Parker drew the face on the front of the train.  He said he was a grouchy train.  He looks mean!
 Parker loves to use scissors!

Here he is with the finished product!  It took us a while to do this project, but it was a lot of fun!
