Wrapping it up!

So...Here are some random pictures of our February!  There were several days that I took a few pics, but got distracted and never blogged about them.  I thought I'd catch you up with an end of the month post!

This month has been so warm, and we have loved every sunny moment!  Here we went to the park and played at the "lost bridge" again.  I love how my boys can really have fun for hours simply throwing rocks into the creek!

After the "lost bridge" and a walk in the park, we headed to Panera!  It was crazy trying to get 4 plates, a high-chair, drinks, and 2 boys outside.  We made several trips back and forth!  I am considering carrying a wagon with me where ever I go from now on.  Especially after this third little baby arrives!  But...we persevered and had a great outdoor lunch!

Even though he looks a little grouchy in this picture, Easton loved being outside and ate his entire lunch!

This apple was originally mine.  I love though, that both my boys will fight till the end over an apple.  I guess I should have known better and got them one of their own.

We went to Hobby Lobby to stock up on some craft supplies.  Parker insisted on taking his pictures at one of the tables you could purchase!   Kids are crazy!

We ate at Mcdonalds...a few times!   This is the mess from my boys, myself, and Zachary.  We enjoyed everything!  Can you tell?

The boys love playing in the play-place!  We stayed on this day for almost 2 hrs!  Yes!  I said 2 hrs!

The boys got their hair cut!  I forgot to get a picture of Parker!

Below is a picture of us enjoying lunch on the picnic table.  We have enjoyed a few meals out there!  I can't believe how much outdoor time we have had in the month of February!
Easton loves spaghetti!

Parker has really developed a love for turkey sandwiches!

It really has been FOREVER since I have talked about our fun activity jar!  We still do it though!  I just don't always have my camera around to take the pictures of the process.  I do usually take pictures of the end results.  Below are some pictures of a few crafts we did.
Parker loves to make paper airplanes!

We have painted a few things.  Easton painted the plane.  Parker painted the trucks.

We do school work almost every day also.  Sometimes the crafts are "school" oriented.  I had cut out all of the circles with numbers already on them.  Parker had to put them in order and make a catepillar.

Here is a picture of Parker practicing using his scissors.  Funny how something simple like this is a hard skill to learn.  It takes a while, but he loves cutting!
Here are some shapes he cut!

And finally....this is a day that we made puppets.  Parker did the cat!  Mine is the hippo!  I tried to get Easton to do a monkey, but he refused!  He ate raisins instead!  I of course drew the animals, but Parker cut out the ears, eyes, and nose.  He glued everything on, too!  He was so proud!

My "LOVES"!!!

I have been wanting to post some pictures of some of my favorite things in life!  Certain things just make me smile no matter what, and I want to remember all of these moments forever!

For example:  There are several things about this picture that I love!  I LOVE how EVERY time( morning, day, or night) I go to get Easton out of his crib, he immediately grabs his dolly and favorite pillow!  He WILL not get out of the crib without these two things.  The second thing I look forward to seeing every day, is Easton's crazy hair!  His hair is so frizzy/fluffy!  He reminds me of a mini version of a fraternity brother who had a rough night!  The fact that he is super clumsy in the morning time, and that he somewhat looks a little drunk, is probably why I think of a frat boy!

Here is a Christmas present that Santa brought to Parker!  He loves to pretend to be just like Daddy!  Both boys love their bath time and now both love to "shave"!  So sweet!  I love that the boys have such a great dad to imitate!

I have several more things about each day that I love!  Some of them, like my daily coffee routine, I have already posted about.  Others, will be posted as I can capture them.  I know one thing I look forward to every night is our Movie in Mamma's bed.  We cuddle in around 8pm for a "boy" movie as Parker calls them.  It is a great way to end the night.  The boys settle down.  We get to spend quality time together.  And...the best part is...the house stays clean if we are all in bed!

My...(our) Favorite Morning Treat!

Is there anything cuter than this picture??? I don't think so!  As most of you probably already know, I have a cup of coffee almost every morning.  And while it is still considered coffee, it is mostly sugar and cream with a little bit of coffee.  Really! Like 5 sugars and 4 creams!  And not the fake sugar stuff! is no wonder that this little guy is in love with it as much as I am.  If he sees a cup in my hands, he crawls up in my lap and begs for some.  He looks at me so sweetly and says, "Hot???"  I then say, "No babe. It is just warm".  He then trustingly takes a sip.  (Here is my favorite part!  He does this every sip)  He then makes his eyes big, nods approvingly, and says "yeah"softly.  I do admit that there have been occassions where I would like to enjoy a WHOLE cup of coffee on my own, but I really do love sharing with my sweet sweet boy!  I think this will be something that I remember about little Easton forever!

Game Night!!!

Today will be a short blog.  (I need to rest a minute while the kids are still napping!)  Last night, Parker and Easton drew "family game night" for their fun activity.   So...we played almost every game that we own!  Including...
Hungry, Hungry Hippos!

Don't Break the Ice!
Easton surprisingly did super good on this game!  I thought he would attack the pieces, but he didn't at all!  He purposefully took the little hammer and tried to only knock down one piece at a time!

 Candy Land!
And even Memory, but I forgot to take a picture of this bc Easton didn't do so well with this game!  He wanted to stack all the pieces for himself!  It was a quick game!

This is the best picture I could get of the boys watching a movie after game night.  They were being so silly.  Easton is now in that phase where he makes that silly face everytime he sees a camera!  Parker went through that, too!  I remember saying, "Don't smile like a vampire!  Smile normal!".  Still a cute smile!  Just a little bit on the squished side!  Anyways...we made popcorn and watched Tinkerbell.  That is, until Parker stole my Kindle Fire and got preoccupied with that instead!

Super Bowl Sunday!

Our Super Bowl Sunday was lots of fun!  Steven had a mulching job he had to do most of the day, so the boys and I headed over to my parent's house to spend the day.  When we arrived, my dad was working in the yard.  The boys had to join in on the fun.  Here they are watching their Papa.

This may not be totally true, but I think my Dad just likes to find a reason to use a big tool.  One of my biggest memories of my Dad, is that he used to carry a machete EVERY time we went in the yard.  He would cut a path here...cut a path there.  Today...he was making their ditch bigger with a pick-axe. worked, but like I said, he likes to use his tools.  Here are the two burly boys with their pick-axe!

And Parker-roo!
My Mom is good at several things, but there is one thing in particular that she does very well!  I call it...the Sneak Attack!  She always says enticing things to get you to do something, and then once you are on your way, she throws in the bad news.  Today is a great example.  I went over to spend the afternoon thinking that we would relax, have coffee, watch TV, etc.  Oh no!  I get there and there are approx $200 of groceries on the counter...all to cook today.  We made 2 types of Mexican dip, spaghetti, corn chowder, pineapple-upside-down cake, and hot wings.  Not to mention the pre-made foods that she also bought.  How can 2 people need all that?  My mom just likes to cook I guess.  Anyways...I was stuck making the wings.  I don't even eat wings!  My mom didn't even have a deep fryer so it took FOREVER!  But, they turned out delicious from what I hear!

The boys enjoyed some cartoons while we cooked!
Anyone notice the very large BEAR in the front seat?  My parents sent this home with the boys!  They love it!  Parker has a way of unknowingly saying things that sound like cuss-words.  For example:  He likes to say Bam-it would he makes something go fast.  This time, he insisted on naming the bear, Silly Puck.  I tried to convince him of several other good bear names, like "Poe" from Kung-fu Panda.  My mom tried Fuzzy Wuzzy the Bear.  Nope...his name is Silly Puck! we are...back at our house...enjoying the game and some pizza.  Steven planned on getting some cinnamon dessert stuff from Papa Murphy's, but they were all out.  They did have their Smores pizza which apparently is their best seller!  I am so so thankful that this was our only dessert choice!  It was DELICIOUS!  I ate 4 pieces by myself!  Easton enjoyed it, too!  That is chocolate all over his face...and hands...and even the back of his neck!  Thank goodness for baby wipes!
