So...we are headed on vacation soon and had a few things to buy to get beach ready. I was completely bored yesterday, and decided that today would be a great day to get out of the house to do a little shopping for the needed beach items. We went to The Children's Place and bought the boys each a hat, pair of sunglasses, and flip-flops. Then...after the boy's each got a hair cut, we headed to Old Navy. Easton was a mess the ENTIRE time we were in the store. Crying like crazy! We made it through the experience with some determination and fast feet! I got myself a summery scarf and added a few flip-flops to name. I got some good deals on some stuff for the boys, too. Like a Batman sweatshirt for $5.00, and a Tom and Jerry T-shirt for $1.91.
So...then it was lunch time, and I had promised Parker that we could feed the ducks today. I was almost too exhausted from Easton's non-stop crying to go, but decided that it might be what the little man needed. I went through the McDonald's drive-thru and spread out a blanket at the park. The first five minutes were still a disaster, but then suddenly the crying stopped and laughter ensued! Parker and Easton ended up eating well, shared wonderfully, and the day became good again!

After we were finished eating, we decided that it was time for the ducks to enjoy a little snack. So armed with a whole thing of stale hamburger buns and almost an entire loaf of old bread, we headed over to the bridge. The bridge is the best spot to feed the ducks because you don't have to worry about anyone falling in the water! When you are alone with two crazy boys, and not as fast as you normally are due to pregnancy, you become thankful for things like that bridge. It's almost like a mini cage!
It has been a great day! Even with the crazy tantrum!
